Theresa Grams

I've had a lifelong fascination with horses, farm animals and wildlife, fueled by jealousy that my grandparents and many of my cousins were lucky enough to live on beautiful farms in SE Minnesota. But, I was a city girl, so I figured if I couldn't live with animals I could at least draw them! I pinched pennies to purchase the first book I remember buying, "How to draw horses". After that, the rest is history. My childhood was spent in Boulder, Colorado and I think you can definitely see that early western life influence reflected in my art. These days, I live the lake life back in Minnesota, so even on a neighborhood walk with my dog, I will often see beautiful creatures - ducks, bald eagles, great blue herons, egrets, wild turkeys, deer, you name it. I also spend much of my vacation time in state/national parks and forests and am always stunned by the beauty of the land and of the amazing creatures that I meet in these treasured locations.
