Allison eklund

Allison is a Twin Cities artist, musician and attorney. She grew up in Minnesota owning and showing horses until college, and then worked summers on dude ranches in Colorado as a horse wrangler and pack trip guide. After graduating from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota with double majors in art and art history, she pursued a career in law without leaving art behind. She took up plein air landscape painting in 2007 and enjoys applying those techniques to painting horses and other moving figures from direct 

observation.
